Quarterly business coaching for ongoing support and accountability
Keep your business plans moving forward
Having a plan is important. Making time to keep working towards it while dealing with the day-to-day demands of business can be much harder.
Quarterly Coaching gives you dedicated time every 90 days to step back, review your progress and decide what needs your attention next. Working with an ilumin adviser, you’ll look at your actual results, discuss the opportunities or challenges you’re facing and establish your priorities for the next 90 days.
The result is greater focus, regular accountability and an experienced sounding board to help you keep moving towards your business and personal goals.
Reviewing progress
We’ll look at what you set out to achieve during the previous 90 days, what happened and what you can learn from it.
This keeps your longer-term goals connected to what’s actually happening in the business.
Setting 90-day goals
Breaking larger goals into shorter periods makes it easier to focus on what needs to happen next.
At each meeting, we’ll help you establish realistic priorities and goals for the coming 90 days.
Creating practical actions
Goals need actions behind them.
Together, we’ll develop a 90-day Action Plan with practical steps and timeframes to help you turn your priorities into progress.
Reviewing business performance
We’ll review your actual results and discuss the areas where performance could be improved.
That gives you useful information to make decisions about what needs your attention next.
Working through opportunities and challenges
Your quarterly meeting gives you dedicated time to discuss the issues that can be difficult to work through when you’re immersed in the business.
Your adviser can act as an independent sounding board, helping you explore ideas, challenges and potential decisions.
Accountability
Knowing someone will be asking about your progress can make it easier to keep important actions moving.
Regular meetings create a rhythm of setting priorities, taking action and reviewing what happened.

Who is quarterly coaching for?

Want to improve business performance and regularly review what’s working.
Are navigating growth, or significant change, and need dedicated time to work through priorities.

When to start quarterly coaching
Quarterly coaching works particularly well once you have a current business plan, because your plan provides the longer-term direction against which you can set and review your 90-day priorities.
You don’t necessarily need to wait, though. Coaching can also be useful when you’re working through a significant change, implementing a strategic or succession plan, or simply need more structure and accountability around what you’re trying to achieve.
How does quarterly coaching work?
You’ll meet with a senior member of the ilumin team every quarter.
At each meeting, we’ll review your actual results, look at progress against your previous 90-day goals and discuss the opportunities or challenges currently facing the business.
Together, we’ll agree on your next priorities and create a realistic 90-day action plan with clear actions and timeframes.
Between meetings, your coach is available by phone or email when you need advice or want to work through an issue.
Do I need a business plan before I start?
Ideally, yes. A current business plan gives your coaching clear longer-term goals and priorities to work towards. However, coaching can also support significant change or the implementation of another strategic plan.
How often will we meet?
Quarterly coaching meetings take place every 90 days.
What happens at each meeting?
We’ll review progress and actual results, discuss current issues or opportunities, establish your next priorities and develop your new 90-day action plan.
Can I contact my coach between meetings?
Yes. The programme includes phone and email access to your coach between quarterly meetings.

Keep your plans moving
Regular time to review, refocus and set your next actions can help turn your longer-term goals into steady progress.
